 Whimsical figurative sculpture is the direction where George Bieber places most of his artistic focus. Bieber, of Bradenton Florida, always considered himself a painter until he discovered this new found direction after taking a class taught by the renouned artist Jack Dowd. Bieber has subsequently immersed himself in sculpture showing his work at numerous venues in Sarasota and Manatee Counties. Bieber's works have enjoyed great popularity at such venues as the Longboat Key Center for the Arts, Sarasota Art Center, Manatee Art Center and the Kaos Gallery in the Village of the Arts.
Bieber primarily works in clay and his colorful clay pieces are one of a kind.
